The woman caught on video horrifically shooting a baby strapped into a baby stroller then yelling, “fu*k your baby,” has been arrested, police in Philadelphia have confirmed.
Last Thursday, video showing the shocking attack went viral and showed the suspect opening fire on a couple pushing their baby in a stroller down the sidewalk.
The suspect fired at least once, striking the 7-month-old baby boy in the leg.
On Friday, police arrested 28-year-old Dominique Billips and charged her with the shooting.
Police now say that the couple with the baby — the mother is a minor — seem to have been caught up in a drug beef with Billips. Police believe that the shooting occurred because the couple owed Billips $100.
According to police, Billips herself was shot in a drug altercation two years ago only a few blocks away from the scene of Thursday’s crime.
The baby is in stable condition and his life is not believe to be in danger.
