I know what you are asking: WHY the heck were our tax dollars in the form of cash from USAID going to pay for a clinic for transgender people in India?
That is a really good question. If one is worried about transgender people getting a health clinic, shouldn’t we be spending that cash on American transgender people? As for me, I don’t want ANY of my tax dollars paying for transgender anything, not here or in India. But I sure as HELL don’t want it being spent in India!
Regardless, according to the BBC, that cash has now been cut off and the transgender clinic in India is now forced to exist on its own efforts… as it should have been in the first place.
In other news, we’ve also be alerted that our tax dollars were going to fill the pockets of anti-American billionaire George Soros and his corrosive, fascist, hateful organizations.

Fine, whatever — Soros can do what he wants with his money. Except that over the last decade or two, EWMI received an estimated $270 million in tax money, largely through USAID, with another $90 million on tap. What does EWMI do with your money? That’s none of your business. Your tax dollars go — or rather, went — to a Soros organization that does what Soros wants.
Stephen Green also looked into the USAID cash that was supposed to go to Haiti to build homes for the poor there. But look what really happened to it: “Of the $4 billion earmarked for Haiti, almost half of it never went much farther than the D.C. beltway. More than half went to ‘other.’ About 2% went to Haitian firms. Six houses were built.”
USAID needs to be completely ended.
