Over the last 20 years, America’s unions have been steadily inching closer to supporting Republicans and this year, Democrats have lost the support of many unions. And now, the Teamsters has decided not to endorse Kamala Harris for president in 2024.
The rank-and-file members of most unions have been going red for the last 50 years, to tell the truth. But over the last few election cycles, even leadership has begun endorsing Republican candidates, something that was practically unheard of before the year 2000.
The Teamsters in particular have been endorsing Democrats for president almost exclusively for many decades. They backed Obama, Hillary, Biden, Gore, and John Kerry.
But this year, ahead of the main organization’s decision not to endorse anyone at all, a poll of Teamsters members came out that show them overwhelmingly supporting Donald Trump.
The poll of members found that 59.6 percent are voting for Trump whole only 34 percent chose Harris.

With that egg on the face of union leadership, the suits retreated and decided to abdicate the field entirely by not endorsing anyone for 2024.
Strangely, the leadership — which is 100 percent sold out to the Democrats — issued a statement with a major lie about their endorsement efforts.
“The union’s extensive member polling showed no majority support for Vice President Harris and no universal support among the membership for President Trump,” they said in a press release.

Clearly, the union’s leadership is desperate to stay in the good graces of the very people their members oppose.
Still, it shows how things are changing in the American political landscape as the GOP continues to become the party of the average, working man while the Democrats become the party of the corrupt elites.
