Brendan Carr, the new chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, immediately eliminated all Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs as soon as he took control of the agency on the tail of Trump’s executive order ending the federal government’s focus on DEI.

On Tuesday, Carr called the Federal Communications Commission’s DEI policies “wasteful” and “invidious” in his statement reported the end of the extremist, left-wing scheme.

“Promoting invidious forms of discrimination runs contrary to the Communications Act and deprives Americans of their rights to fair and equal treatment under the law. It also represents a wasteful expenditure of taxpayer resources,” Carr’s Tuesday stateement read. “Nonetheless, the FCC joined other private and public sector institutions in promoting discriminatory DEI policies during the Biden Administration.”

Carr added that the FCC would end the DEI Advisory Group and delete any mention of DEI in the commission’s budget. DEI will also be removed from performance reports and economic plans.

“President Trump’s leadership on this will deliver great results for the American people as agencies act pursuant to his executive order,” Carr said.

Carr concluded, writing, “In addition to the steps I have listed here, the Commission will take further actions, as necessary and appropriate, to ensure that the FCC’s promotion of DEI ends, including consulting and coordinating with other agencies. The FCC will focus on competently carrying out the agency’s statutory mission.”

On his first day in office, right after his inauguration, the president signed an executive order to require the federal government to only recognize male and female genders, and not the 200 other genders that leftists have invented out of whole-cloth.
