Do you think it sounds like a good idea to have Elon Musk in a presidential cabinet? Well, Donald Trump just said he’d welcome the idea if he happens to win the election this November.

If you are a fan of free speech advocate Elon Musk, you might like this news:

Former President Donald Trump on Monday admitted that he would tap Tesla and X owner Elon Musk for a cabinet or advisory position if he returns to the White House next year.

Musk led a conversation with the Republican presidential nominee on his social media platform last week, which included discussions about creating a “government efficiency commission,” that would look at ways to reduce government spending.

The former president on Monday did not indicate what cabinet or advisory position he would offer Musk, but the comment occurred during a Reuters interview where he discussed ending a tax credit on purchasing electric vehicles.

“Tax credits and tax incentives are not generally a very good thing,” Trump told the outlet after a Pennsylvania rally. “I’m not making any final decisions on it, I’m a big fan of electric cars. But I’m a fan of gasoline-propelled cars, and also hybrids and whatever else happens to come along.”

One thing is certain, Musk knows a LOT more about running things than Joe Biden and the democrats.
