According to a new Anti-Defamation League report, antisemitism soared to a high not seen for 45 years. Naturally, the biggest hot spots for hate are America’s colleges and universities.

The ADL report released April 22 found 9,354 antisemitic incidents last year across the U.S., a 5% increase from 2023 and an increase of 893% over the past 10 years. ADL began tracking antisemitic incidents 46 years ago, making last year’s incidents the highest number on record.
There were 1,694 antisemitic incidents on college campuses last year – an 84% increase from 2023. Incidents on campuses made up 18% of all incidents, the largest percentage of the total since ADL began collecting such data.
For the first time in the history of this ADL report, a majority of all incidents were related to Israel or Zionism, at 58%. Of more than 5,000 anti-Israel rallies that ADL tracked last year, 2,596 involved antisemitic messaging in the form of speeches, signs, or chants.
In 2024, assaults increased by 21% to 196 incidents, impacting 250 victims, and a 20% increase of vandalism resulted in 2,606 incidents.
