When the city officials of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, tried to ban the Christian cross from a city-sponsored event, residents responded in a HUGE and peaceful way by staging a big parade featuring hundreds of crosses.

The town council put out a rule that no Christian crosses would be allowed at the Coeur d’Alene Independence Day parade.

Residents, though, had a different idea.

Watch:

In an attempt to save face, the city council quickly passed a new measure reversing the cross ban.

But it really didn’t matter to the residents what the Christian-hating members of the city council were or were not saying.

But, like all leftists, the reason for their ban of any displays of Christianity was because they felt that Christianity is “offensive.”

UPDATE: I should clarify that it was the Chamber of Commerce that made the decision to ban Christian symbols from the parade, not city hall.
