Putin turns crybaby

It’s not as though the world expected Putin and his minions to take responsibility for their actions, but this protestation is little more than indignant ignorance at this point.

At this point in the invasion of Ukraine, it has become rather apparent to us all that Putin is wholly detached from reality. They’re disillusioned, desperate, and defiant, despite fully understanding the consequences of their actions.

It’d be sadly pathetic if it weren’t so darn dangerous.

The latest evidence of Moscow’s manic meltdown comes after the International Criminal Court opened an investigation into the obvious, repeated, and horrific war crimes committed by Russian troops on Putin’s orders…and to be honest, it comes off as a bit whiny, if nothing else.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it summoned U.S. Ambassador John Sullivan on Monday in Moscow to formally protest President Joe Biden’s decision last week to label Russian President Vladimir Putin a “war criminal.”

Sullivan was told that Biden’s accusation had put “Russian-American relations on the verge of rupture,” according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry translated by NBC News.

Biden said Wednesday that he believes Putin “is a war criminal” for ordering Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine. It was the first time Biden had publicly branded Putin with that phrase.

And while the Kremlin attempted to portray the “war criminal” comment as an insult, it was actually just a simple fact.

Biden’s comment came hours Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other top officials met virtually with the International Criminal Court’s top prosecutor, who two weeks ago opened an investigation into possible war crimes by Russia.

It’s not as though the world expected Putin and his minions to take responsibility for their actions, but this protestation is little more than indignant ignorance at this point.
