If ever there was a story that proved the existence of God (and that the lord has a sense of humor) it’s this one written by my colleague
:Yesterday, I noted that the creators of the Comedy Central hit “South Park” had tweeted out a Kaepernick-friendly version of the national anthem. The lyrics included the following:
Colin Kaepernick is great.
Cops are pigs, cops are pigs.
Wait, someone just took my stuff, I need to call the cops.
Don’t sit this one out! #SouthPark returns this Wednesday on @ComedyCentral with 10 all-new episodes! #mnf pic.twitter.com/EqEKquuf0g

This morning, I came across a story that might well have been the inspiration for these lyrics.
Houston ABC affiliate KTRK reported last week that a graduate student at the University of Houston was robbed at gunpoint outside his off-campus apartment. The victim, Jerry Ford, Jr., is identified as “one of the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement.” That’s the organization that popularized chants like “Pigs in a blanket/fry ’em like bacon” and elevated cop killer Assata Shakur (aka Joanne Chesimard) to hero status:

But back to the article. The apartment complex Ford lives in is inhabited mainly by university students, but is is not patrolled by campus police. Remarkably, Ford “says that needs to change”:
It’s becoming a pattern. I hope they would take a bigger stance and put more security over here because you have a lot of people walking back and forth to class.
So has Ford now seen the light? Not a chance. He told reporters that he sympathizes with his mugger:
I would’ve gave him money. I would’ve talked to him because the real crime is why is he in that position that he feels the need to come and hang out at a college campus and rob people of stuff they worked for.
[Jeff’s note: see what I mean? Somewhere up in heaven the Lord is having a good laugh at the expense of that a-hole. And hopefully the campus police and all cops in Houston and across the country get a chuckle out of this. Hopefully the campus cops will flip this guy the bird and tell him he’s on his own, but I doubt it because the vast majority of police are excellent people who even protect the worthless a-holes of BLM]
