HOW DARE HE! If this is an indication of how Donald Trump is going to run the country…..not only did he go out for dinner with his kids, he probably paid for his children also! OMG!
On Tuesday evening, that mean Donald Trump ditched his press coverage and went to dinner at the Famous New York steak house (and former Speakeasy) the 21 Club. He walked in to a standing “o” from the eatery’s patrons.
The press was not invited, they were waiting at Trump Tower as he escaped through a back entrance.
Apparently at a quarter after six they were told by SPOX Hope Hicks that the president-elect was done for the day, he would not be leaving Trump Tower for the rest of the night. But at 7:30PM Mr. Trump had the horrible nerve to gather up his wife, his four grown up children with their respective partners, and left the building though a back exit and with at least a dozen vehicles and an ambulance went for a steak dinner.
In fact, the media only found out because a Bloomberg reporter who happened to be eating at the 21 Club took a picture of him as he entered the restaurant.
The press pool had a canary! The White House Correspondents’ Association issued the following statement this morning.
On Tuesday President-elect Trump went out for dinner in New York without a pool of journalists in his motorcade and after reporters were advised that he was in for the night. One week after the election, it is unacceptable for the next president of the United States to travel without a regular pool to record his movements and inform the public about his whereabouts. The White House Correspondents’ Association is pleased to hear reassurances by the Trump transition team that it will respect long-held traditions of press access at the White House and support a pool structure. But the time to act on that promise is now. Pool reporters are in place in New York to cover the president-elect as he assembles his new administration. It is critical that they be allowed to do their jobs.”

OH PULEEESE! He wasn’t assembling his new administration he was disassembling a steak. Yes America, Donald Trump ignored the public’s right to know if the president-elect had a center cut filet mignon or a t-bone. Come on folks…we all know you don’t give a rat’s arse whether Trump had grilled asparagus or creamed spinach. The MSM is still upset that Hillary Clinton didn’t win the election and are trying to de-legitimize Trump any way they can. It’s time for them to learn that the “state of denial” doesn’t have any electoral votes.
Perhaps the arrogant press pool could have taken the time to learn about what America is concerned about so they would stop looking out of touch with their readers.
