She’s Nuts! Ocasio-Cortez: Use Blueprint From Defeating Nazis to Defeat Global Warming

New York Democratic congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thinks the “blueprint” for how we won World War Two can be deployed to beat global warming.

The communist “it” girl appeared at a town hall in Queens, New York, last week where she came up with her unique suggestion on how to defeat global warming, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

“When we talk about existential threats, the last time we had a really major existential threat in this country was around World War II, so we’ve been here before, and we have a blueprint of doing this before. None of these things are new ideas, but we have is an existential threat in the context of war,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a very vague allusion to the great war.

“We had a direct existential threat with another nation and at this time it was Nazi Germany and Axis, who explicitly made the United States as an enemy, and what we did was that we chose to mobilize our entire continent and industrialize our entire continent, and we put hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people, to work in defending our shores and defending this country.”

She added that this is what we have to do to defeat global warming… though it apparently didn’t seem odd to her that she was suggesting we “industrialize our entire continent” to defeat something that her allies say is made worse when we “industrialize our entire continent.”

“But the fact of the matter is that we are dealing with a radical truth and radical reality and the more that we choose to ignore it, the worst we are doing by our children, our grandchildren, and frankly ourselves,” Ocasio-Cortez concluded.

Ocasio-Cortez has taken to calling her vague global warming ideas a “Green New Deal.”
