During a trip to South and Central America, New York’s Democrat Mayor Eric Adams told an audience in Colombia that foreigners have a “right” to take jobs away from Americans.
Adams took a tour of the countries of Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico to convince people NOT to come to New York City. But even with that goal in mind, he could not help himself and blurted out the left-wingery he was so used to spouting.
According to the Associated Press, while in Colombia, Adams claimed that the world’s migrants deserve a “right to work” in the U.S. despite how harmful it harms American workers.
“When you look at Colombia, they have really shown how to absorb individuals into their societies, and one of the most important ways to do it is to allow people to work,” Adams gushed.
“Nothing is more humane and more American than your right to work, and we believe that is a right we should extend,” he added.
He then praised the feckless Biden administration and said that Biden has done great things to get illegals in the U.S. into jobs.
Still, when he visited Mexico, he added that New York City is “at capacity” and more arrivals should not expect to find jobs.
Our hearts are endless, but our resources are not,” Adams said. “We don’t want to put people in congregate shelters. We don’t want people to think they will be employed.”
Talking out of both sides of his mouth.
A typical Democrat.
