A new poll by Gallup finds that more Americans than ever are turning against the idea of buying an electric vehicle.
Gallup did find that the number of Americans who now own an EV has gone up.
“Seven percent of Americans, up from 4% a year ago, report that they own an electric vehicle.”
That is the good news for Joe Biden’s EV obsession. After that, it sort of goes downhill for EVs.
“That increase,” Gallup added, “is matched by an equal decline in the percentage saying they are seriously considering buying one.
Their previous poll found that 12% said they were interested in buying an EV. But this for this poll, that number dwindled to 9%.
The bad news continued.
“Meanwhile, fewer Americans — 35%, down from 43% in 2023 — say they might consider buying an EV in the future. Thus, even as some people have moved ahead with their intent to buy an EV in the past year, public demand for the cars has contracted.”
That is because people are finally coming to their senses and are coming to the understanding that EVs are simply not the panacea that Joe Biden and his lunatic leftists are saying they are.
“Overall, less than half of adults, 44%, now say they are either seriously considering or might consider buying an EV in the future, down from 55% in 2023, while the proportion not intending to buy one has increased from 41% to 48%,” Gallup concluded.
We are just about done with the early adopters — those people who are all excited about buying into the next big thing. The people who are interested in owning an EV already own one. There aren’t many left who are interested. And the more people find out about them, the fewer there will be who will bite the bullet and buy one.
EVs are not the future despite how badly Joe Biden wants them to be.
But, here is the thing. Joe and his Green Nazis really don’t want you to have an EV. They don’t want you having a car at all, EV or no. It’s just that EVs are the first step in eliminating all privately owned cars. That’s why they are trying to replace all gas-powered cars with EVs.
They hope that once all the gas cars are gone, then they can work on ending the EV’s too.
