Another metric showing how Joe Biden is destroying this country comes in several statistics, one showing a rise in welfare recipients and another showing that the labor participation rate has dropped.
Firstly, we find that the number of people under 25 who are neither employed or in a training program for employment is higher than it has been for years. Currently 1 in 5 youths are classified as NEET (not in employment, education, or training). The NEET number now stands at 11.9 percent and climbing.
Then there is the welfare rate. Under Biden, more people than ever are taking government handouts. According to PEW research, there are 41.9 million people in 22.2 million households receiving food stamps. That is 12.5 percent of the total U.S. population and the highest it has ever been.
Meanwhile, the labor participation rate is still at record lows excluding the lunacy in 2020 and 2021 when government was destroying businesses all across the country with its criminal reaction to the COVID scamdemic. And it is far below the rate during Trump’s presidency.
These numbers show that Joe Biden has been a disaster for the U.S. economy.
