The Molson Coors brewing company are finally starting to roll back its woke diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the face of rising resistance to the extremist ideology.

Conservative activist Robby Starbuck recently told his X followers that anti-DEI trend has claimed another victory.

Big news,” Starbuck wrote in a Tuesday X post. “Last week I messaged executives from CoorsLight MolsonCoors to let them know that I planned to expose their woke policies. Today they’re preemptively making changes.”

Starbuck went on to report that the company is ending several of its DEI policies, including putting an end to DEI employee training, donations to divisive events, and other moves.

Further, Coors told Fo Business Network that starting with the next quarter they will dump “aspirational representation goals” and ties training to business performance, only.

Fox Business Network added:

Molson Coors is also ending its participation in the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, an annual survey and report used to gauge “policies, practices and benefits pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) employees” by the Human Rights Campaign, which is one of the largest and most progressive nonprofits in the country.

Coors is following the lead of several other companies, including Ford, John Deere, Lowe’s and Tractor Supply, that have announced updates to their DEI initiatives after becoming a target of Starbuck’s pressure campaigns.

It remains to be seen just how far away from DEI the. brewer is going, but time will tell.

For now, the fact that they are openly distancing themselves from DEI is a step in the right direction.
