A Catholic bishop from Michigan says that Joe Biden isn’t the good Catholic that the Democrat Party says he is. In fact, he is a “stupid” Catholic, the church leader insists.
Bishop Robert Gruss of the Diocese of Saginaw reportedly mentioned Biden during a sermon he called “Forgiveness as the Heart of Christianity” that he delivered on Apr. 5 at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, Fox News reported
The thrust of his sermon was apparently the idea of letting go of hatreds and resentments.
“If you’re harboring bad, negative, resentful feelings towards our president, you’re not free,” Gruss said during his sermon. “Otherwise, you’re letting him control you and your thoughts and your words and your actions. And I guarantee that if he is a problem for you, then those thoughts, words, and actions are negative — they’re gonna come out and then we commit sin. That’s what sin is.”
He then asked how many have expressed anger toward Joe Biden.
“How many times have you confessed your anger towards the president?” the bishop asked. “I’m serious, I’m not kidding. If you have it, you should be confessing it. Otherwise, you’re not free.”
But Bisho Gruss insisted that he harbors no hatred for Biden.
“I don’t have any anger towards the president. I feel sorry for him. I’m not angry at him, he’s just stupid,” Gruss exclaimed.
But the bishop went on to explain that Biden is ignorant of Catholicism.
“It’s not stupidity in the derogatory way, it’s stupidity in the sense of […] he doesn’t understand the Catholic faith.”
You can’t fault the bishop for his reasoning.
Joe Biden is a leftist. Not a Catholic.
The two are mutually exclusive.
