Mexicans are organizing protests and threatening people over immigration… IN Mexico. It turns out, they don’t mid their fellow citizens flooding America, but when Americans try to move south, it’s time for an uprising!
Some parts of Mexico have become a very attractive destination for American retirees who want to be relatively close to the U.S., but who find the far lower costs in Mexico to be a huge draw.
But, Mexicans are getting fed up with the gringos moving into their sand-choked paradise. And they aren’t being as nice as Americans are about it all.
Mexicans have been rioting, destroying property, and threatening to kill the gringos who have moved south and started a trend of gentrifying some areas of Mexico.

The Mexican residents are claiming that the gringos are “stealing” the homes of Mexicans who are being priced out of their areas by the incoming Americans who are prepared to spend more than the locals can afford.
