The heir to the founder of the hugely popular burger chain In-N-Out, a chain that started in California in 1948, says that California is now a bad place to raise kids, a horrible place to try and run a business, and she and her family are done.
President Lynsi Snyder, the current president and owner of the chain, is the granddaughter of Harry and Esther Snyder, founders of the huge restaurant chain. Lynsi was born in San Dimas, California, in the San Gabriel Valley near Los Angeles. So, she is a life-long Californian.
But it looks like she is done with the lunatic, left-wing state and is moving her family to Tennessee, along with the HQ for her company. Though a corporate office will remain in Calif., the Snyders will not. And she is taking a ton of her employees with her.
“There’s a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here,” Snyder said on the Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey podcast.
“Doing business is not easy here now,” she added.
In-n-Out President Lynsi Snyder reveals for the first time that she and her family are LEAVING California for Tennessee. “Raising a family is not easy here,” she told me. “Doing business is not easy here.”

“It will be wonderful having an office out there, growing out there… being able to have a family out there, and move people’s families out there,” she said.
Snyder apparently kicked her plans off late last year and began building her new facility in Franklin, Tennessee. WKRN reported that the company says workers will either be transferred to the company’s Baldwin Park office in L.A., or to the new Tennessee headquarters.
In-N-Out’s locations are mostly in California, but they also have restaurants in Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Oregon. The company, though is now eyeing expansion into the east and the HQ move to Tennessee is the first step.
