The future of this great country got just a little bit brighter this morning, Interviewed by Jane Pauley on CBS’ “Sunday Morning” program, Hillary Clinton revealed that she is “done with being a candidate.” The former presidential contender said her reign as a politician has ended,

Pauley: Is your political career over?

Clinton: Yes. As an active politician, it’s over.

Pauley: You will never be a candidate for office

Clinton: I am done with being a candidate, but I am not done with politics because I literally believe that our country’s future is at stake.

Of course, she isn’t done with politics, she’s made too much money off her political career and that of her husband former President Bubba Clinton.

At one point in the interview, Hillary indicated that she was finally “getting it.

Pauly asked if there were things that if she hadn’t done she would be president. Hillary started off blaming herself and then launched into the coverage.

Oh, I think the– the most important of the mistakes I made was using personal email…I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, that was my responsibility,.It was presented in such a negative way, and I never could get out from under it. And it never stopped.

Then she went through her usual litany of oppressors, Bernie Sanders, James Comey, the Russians, etc.  She even came up with a new one…white people:

She claimed that Trump “was quite successful in referencing a nostalgia that would give hope, comfort, settle grievances, for millions of people who were upset about gains that were made by others because—” Pauley countered with “What you’re saying is millions of white people.”  Clinton thought the point was so important she said it twice, “Millions of white people, yeah, Millions of white people.”

Of course, that belies the fact that Trump did better than previous Republicans with African-Americans–in other words, it as millions of non-white people too.

And as of Comey, she blames him for his speech where he said he’s not going to prosecute her, for reopening the investigation when they found more emails on Anthony Weiner’s computer, and for not bringing up the Russia investigation. Again she doesn’t get it after all its a year later and still no one has been able to tie the Trump campaign to the Russians.

The only exceptional part of the interview was Hillary’s announcement she will not run again.  That makes it a wonderful day for the future of America.
