Obviously Hillary Clinton does not read Politifact or Glenn Kessler’s “Fact Checker” column in the Washington Post. Last Sunday,  Ms. Clinton told Chris Wallace of Fox News, “Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people.” Within 24 hours both Kessler and Politifact said the Democratic Party candidate for president was full of cra, I mean lying.

Interviewed by Brandon Rittiman of Denver, Colorado TV station KUSA on Thursday, the Democratic Party’s liar-in-chief repeated her claim, “... as the FBI said, everything that I’ve said publicly has been consistent and truthful with what I’ve told them.

The truth is that the FBI Director refused to say whether or not she lied to the public. As Glenn Kessler reported:

When House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) asked whether Clinton had lied to the American public, Comey dodged: “That’s a question I’m not qualified to answer. I can speak about what she said to the FBI.”

At another point, Comey told Congress: “I really don’t want to get in the business of trying to parse and judge her public statements. And so I think I’ve tried to avoid doing that sitting here. … What matters to me is what did she say to the FBI.

Politifact points to the same quote.

Hillary did make one accurate point to Brandon Rittiman about her emails, but of course her rationale was totally wrong:

Rittiman: Does it undercut the argument that you and the Democrats are making that Donald Trump ought to release his tax returns when he can point to right back to tens of thousands of emails that your legal team deleted because they declared them personal?

Clinton: Oh, that’s such an apples and oranges comparison it’s hard to even talk about. Every presidential candidate for decades has released his tax returns, and I’ve released 33 years of my tax returns. The American people deserve to know about our taxes. And so Donald Trump is standing in the way of precedent that goes back on both sides of aisle Democrats and Republicans, and he clearly has something that he doesn’t want us to see.

The initial part of her answer “such an apples and oranges comparison” is accurate. Hillary’s email scandal is due to the fact that she broke, or at least skirted federal law and rules. Issuing tax returns is not required by law for a presidential candidate, it’s a tradition.

In the end what we can say for sure is that Hillary continues to lie about the FBI’s report about her emails. As a Geico TV commercial might say, “If you are Hillary Clinton, you lie. That’s what you do”

Below is a video of the segment of Hillary’s Denver interview where she talks about her emails.

UPDATE: OOPS Hillary did it again, again.  She repeated the lie to Jake Tapper yesterday. Read all about it at HotAir by clicking here
