Former Sec. of State and one-time first lady Hillary Clinton admitted to CNN that Democrats what censorship control over social media because they want the power to dictate what you are allowed to see online.
Speaking to CNN’s host Michael Smerconish on Saturday, Hillary let the quiet part slip right out, Fox News reported.
“We can look at the state of California, the state of New York, I think some other states have also taken action,” Clinton said of Democrat efforts to take control of how social media companies are censoring their conservative customers.
“But we need national action, and sadly, our Congress has been dysfunctional when it comes to addressing these threats to our children,” she added.
Ah, the ages-old Democrat mantra of “it’s for the children.”
Clinton went on to insist that eliminating free speech on social media and on the Internet should be “at the top of every legislative political agenda” and called for the eliminating Section 230 of the Communications Act, which gives online social media companies protection from being sued for what a user might post online.
“We should be, in my view, repealing something called Section 230, which gave, you know, platforms on the internet immunity because they were thought to be just pass-throughs, that they shouldn’t be judged for the content that is posted,” Clinton exclaimed.
Then she let the left’s true agenda slip out.
“But we now know that that was an overly simple view, that if the platforms, whether it’s Facebook or Twitter/X or Instagram or TikTok, whatever they are, if they don’t moderate and monitor the content, we lose total control,” she added. “And it’s not just the social and psychological affects, it’s real life.”
There you have it, America. Hillary just admitted that she and her anti-American cohorts want “total control” over you and what you are “allowed” to say online.
