Columbia University is becoming a joke in so many ways, and now it has become so bad that high schoolers are starting to take the college off their list of possible institutes to attend because the place has become a laughing stock.

As the The New York Post reported:

“If you were to compare Columbia with virtually any Ivy League, virtually any other Ivy League will win [in terms of desirability with students] — and even non-Ivies like Duke, Emory and Washington [University] in St. Louis,” college admissions consultant and Command Education CEO Christopher Rim told The Post.

As President Trump has cut Columbia’s federal funding in an effort to squash chaotic pro-Palestine protests, applicants are weighing whether to accept an offer of admission from the school or to go elsewhere.

Hopefuls applied with the knowledge that the campus had been shut down by a pro-Palestine encampment last spring, but Rim says they generally didn’t expect things would still be so crazy.

“Lots of my clients thought things would be back to normal by now,” he said. “And by the time the school year starts in the fall, who knows? One thousand things can change again.”

Of course, there is another reason why Americans don’t want to go there anymore. The school is mostly catering to foreigners!

The university does not like to highlight it much, but the fact is, more than half of its students are foreigners.

This is NOT an American school.

Per the Charlie Kirk:

But if you dig deeper, the true story is even more appalling: Columbia is using the prestige of its elite undergraduate school to bring in thousands of mediocre foreigners who want a Columbia degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar field. Columbia admits them because they pay full-freight tuition, boosting their bottom line while glutting the American job market and lowering wages for STEM workers.

Why are we letting one of America’s premier universities become overwhelmingly foreign in order to fund bloated administrator paychecks?
