Business mogul Elon Musk has announced that he is moving the HQs for X/Twitter and SpaceX to Texas after California passed a law taking all power over children away from parents.

Musk had already changed his personal home address to Texas back in 2021. But he had left the HQs of his multibillion-dollar businesses in California. But now he is saying that the move by the state legislature to allow the state to take possession of children if a parent disagrees with radical transgenderism is too much to bear.

He fears that his employees are now under threat of losing custody of their children to the radical left-wing state thanks to the SAFTY Act that far-left Gov. Gavin Newsom signed and he is moving his businesses out of California to protect his employees.

Musk took to his X account to make the announcement.

“This is the final straw,” he wrote on Tuesday afternoon.

“Because of this law and the many others that preceded it, attacking both families and companies, SpaceX will now move its HQ from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas.”

In a followup post, he noted that he is also moving his X HQ to Texas and added that the crime problem in California is another reason to flee California.

“Have had enough of dodging gangs of violent drug addicts just to get in and out of the building,” he wrote.

There is no time table yet announced for all this, so we have to wait and see when these moves will occur.
