The Democrat Party is digging its hole deeper every week and it seems as if they won’t be surging back to popularity any time soon.

Axios has published a navel-gazing piece about how their buddies in the Democrat Party are failing ever downward in the era of Trump 2.0.

We here at the Lid have already discussed how the Democrat Party is at its lowest favorability level of all time. But Axios went farther with a long list of problems that the party faces since the 2024 election season when everything fell apart for them.

Axios notes that the party lacks a popular national leader, and they don’t have a majority on the U.S. Supreme Court.

They also don’t have enough in the Senate or the House to push their agenda, and the electoral maps across the country don’t look like any gains will be happening any time soon, either.

Worse, with so many fleeing blue states, the Democrats are losing seats. And the youth vote seems to be skewing to the Republicans, too!

“Democrats’ dismal reality is not Republican spin. In fact, there’s broad consensus among Democratic leaders that most current political, cultural, media and generational trends are cutting against them,” Axios says.

This is all good news from Trump and the GOP… AND America.
