Don’t question 2020. It was as free and fair an election as is humanly possible. (*May contain fine print*.)

It’s strange, isn’t it? What a big step back we’ve taken in election security now that it’s no longer 2020?

We’ve got Democrats in what, three different races complaining about sketchy primary results? But the very same system is perfectly reliable everywhere else. At least, it was in 2020. Uh-huh. Next, you’ll want to sell me a bridge.

One huge hurdle in contesting those results was the death-by-1000-cuts aspect of the challenges. Different races in different places had different challenges to irregularities alleged in the system. But any one of those irregularities that could not be shown to have changed a result (by itself!) would not be given an audience in court. It would be ‘moot’ whether there was truth to the claim or not.

As a result, anyone raising questions about any aspect of the 2020 election result has been hit with the deliberately defamatory term ‘election denier.’ They claim it was ‘settled’ in court. Anyone questioning the result gets slapped with every dirty trick Big Tech knows how to throw at them. You will notice many online Conservative voices have gone dark since then. That’s not a coincidence.

But elections have consequences, even the little victories.

In 2020, the GOP took back the gavel for the House, and they have been looking into the weaponization of government. And boy, howdy did they hit a jackpot.

Jim Jordan took an entire thread to explain how the federal government — during a TRUMP PRESIDENCY — went rogue and actively silenced right-of-center voices.

He lays out ‘chapter and verse’ of documents showing YOUR tax dollars being leveraged to undermine YOUR constitutional rights and explaining how the complicated process worked. (The link at the end sends you to a report, which is easier to follow than a series of tweets.)

Politicians and journalists were among the people whose online reach was systematically suppressed.

As Trump likes to say — if they can do it to me, they can do it to anyone.
