By Jeff Davidson,

With 19 days until inauguration, it’s useful to acknowledge why Donald Trump never quit no matter what was thrown at him.

Leading up to the election, every other time you watched television you were besieged by advertisements from the Harris campaign and her billion dollar budget. The ads often said nothing about her limited accomplishments. Instead, nearly all of the Harris ads focused on Donald Trump and various shortcomings that they sought to attach to him.

Obviously, the End of Democracy!

A major focus of the Harris advertisements was that while she was a candidate “for the people,” Trump was running only for himself. To anyone with knowledge of recent history the premise seemed absurd, but that is what the Harris campaign chose to offer.

As most of the court cases against him are thankfully unraveling, it is ever-more clear that Trump was unfairly prosecuted for non-crimes by corrupt attorneys general, judges, and district attorneys. For sure, Trump has been slandered beyond anything that probably anyone in U.S. history has endured. He’s been libeled. He’s been likened to Hitler. ABC will pay $16 million for the way that George Stephanopoulos defamed him. And more suits against mainstream media are forthcoming.

Democrats loudly proclaimed that voting for Trump would be the end of democracy, because he’s going to become a dictator! This is balderdash as a parade of top Democrats make their way to Maralago to dine with “Hitler.”

Now, for Reality

Trump never quit, for us — for each of us. What will Trump do in a second term? Unlike Harris, he didn’t keep his plans a secret. We have witnessed in the last eight weeks one brilliant appointment after another. He will reinvigorate border security and stop the multi-millions of gate crashers from invading our country. In concurrence, he will initiate the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.

Once he steps back into the White House, Trump has numerous policies in place ready to bring down inflation, including reducing burdensome regulations, cutting government waste, and decreasing taxes. He will tackle the soaring prices that have squeezed the middle class beyond what anybody could have imagined at the start of 2021, when inflation was still low and manageable.

Trump is committed to renewing American manufacturing. During his first term he induced several multinational corporations to relocate here. During his second term, this will resume at a healthy pace, and in some places has already started.

As the World Turns

Donald Trump has no qualms about vanquishing those who are pro-Hamas and pro-Hezbollah and who commit violence on our nation’s campuses, in urban areas, against Jews, and against any other American citizens.

He will modernize and rebuild the U.S. military to make it the most powerful force in the world, but will employ it sparingly and only when necessary. He recognizes that peace is obtained through strength.

During his first term, no new wars were initiated by the U.S. and, looking back, it was a time of relative peace. Once Donald Trump left office, Vladimir Putin got into high gear seizing territory. Xi Jinping accelerated his subtle, enduring campaign to destroy our culture. North Korea resumed testing nuclear weapons. Had Trump been in office for the last four years, none of this would have happened.

Of the People, By the People

Trump will dismantle the weaponization of the federal government against American citizens. He knows all too well that what has happened to him could easily happen to any one of us who don’t have his influence, power, wealth, and authority.

He will abolish the Department of Education which has done precious little for decades except consume billions of taxpayer dollars while not moving the needle in terms of our students’ educational capabilities. He will also protect Medicare and Social Security ensuring that people who have long paid into the system will continue to receive their due rewards.

He will cancel the electoral vehicle mandate knowing that EVs are not all that they have been cracked up to be, and that the strip-mining it necessitates around the world to create the Cobalt batteries is no more friendly to the environment than extracting oil from the earth.

Trump is committed to keeping biological boys and men out of women’s sports. He fully acknowledges the long-term sacrifice that female athletes have made and how unfair it is to have them compete against those who have inherently greater upper body strength, speed, and endurance. He will work to make CRT a relic in schools and put DEI on the chopping block in organizations ands institutions.

We Chose Wisely

As if the above is not enough, he will secure our elections insisting on same day voting, paper ballots only, proof of citizenship and voter ID.

Which of the above initiatives, in any way, indicate that Donald Trump’s second inauguration is only about for himself? You guessed it: None of the above.

Thank our lucky stars that a majority of American voters made the right choice.

++++
