How stupid are liberals? This story answers that burning question, for sure. A student was arrested by the University of Tennessee police after he was spotted carrying a Civil War musket to be used in a Civil War demonstration.
According to the Daily Beacon, teenage freshman Brandon Dowd was absurdly accosted by the halfwit university Keystone Kops after officers saw him carrying his musket on the campus on March 29.
Young Mister Dowd, who has worked with the National Park Service to portray a Civil War soldier, was gathering his gear to participate in filming a Civil War battle event. Dowd also participates in fundraising to preserve Civil War battlefields.
Dowd also noted that he has had the musket, bayonet, and black powder on his person or in his room all year, and no one ever said a word to him about it.
“When they did dorm checks, they didn’t say anything about it last semester or this semester,” Dowd said. “I’ve walked into the building 20 or more times with both muskets.”
The slow-witted school officials set an April 4 arraignment for the completely innocent young man.
The paper adds: “In Tennessee, it is a class B misdemeanor to carry a firearm on campus that is not solely for instructional or school-sanctioned ceremonial purposes. The misdemeanor is punishable with up to 6 months in jail and up to $500 in fines. Carrying a weapon with the intent to go armed is a felony.”
But according to state law, “Code Ann. § 39-17-1307(c) may possess any antique or black powder long gun without restriction.”
This fellow is 100 percent innocent.
But gun laws aside, HE’S A DANGED CIVIL WAR REENACTOR, not a mass shooter, you dopes.
Also, let’s point out that these dumbass liberals always say that the Second Amendment only covers muskets because that is all they had back in those days. And yet? And yet, these liberal loons are trying to arrest people even for having the guns they claim are the only ones legitimately covered by the Constitution.
This story proves that liberals are both extremely stupid people and abject liars.
