The Daily Mail reports, ‘The cartels have realized that under Biden there is serious money to be made from people trafficking without any of the distribution issues you face with narcotics. Those organized crime groups are getting huge] paydays thanks to President Biden tearing apart the policies of President Trump that reduce illegal alien traffic to a trickle.
In fact, Biden has turned human trafficking into a billion-dollar racket ‘worth more than dope,’ per the Daily Mail.
‘Remember that every Mexican citizen that you see crossing the river is worth 2,500 bucks. If they’re Venezuelan, Guatemalan or Honduran they paid $3,000.
‘If they’re Chinese they paid $5,000. If they’re Middle Eastern or Russian they paid $9,000. If you’re a higher value commodity they make sure you get over at a quieter spot.’
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the number of migrant apprehensions reached 78,323 in January 2021 – double the amount from January 2020.

Some or all of the smuggling fees are paid upfront.. but in most cases, they’re paid over time by the worker, their family even their employer.
“Trafficking is a multibillion-dollar industry,” said former Tucson Border Patrol Chief Roy Villareal, who retired in December after 30 years with the agency. “A lot of these vulnerable populations use their life savings. Some are essentially indentured servants and they’re working off this debt for a long period of time. In other cases, some of these migrants are asked to transport narcotics or some form of crime to work off a different part of their debt.”
As they trek toward the U.S., the trafficked illegals are given wristbands to wear that represent information such as how much money they still owe to which Cartel.
If their debts are not paid off, the trafficked illegal or their family back in their home country could be hurt or worse. This indentured servitude is basically slavery.
“Human trafficking, my friends, is slavery,” Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT) pointed out as he briefed reporters Wednesday alongside Salazar and other Republicans.
He went on to note “30 percent of the women and girls coming through this [migration] process are going to be raped.”
“We can’t standby and let that happen. We have boys and girls as young as six or seven years old being pushed into sex trafficking,” he added.
Some parents put their child on the migration pathway to the U.S. southern border process with “false hope” who never hear from their child again because that child will die, Owens also said.
“President Biden should be ashamed of himself. Ashamed. This was preventable,” Owens pointed out, adding, “There are people suffering, going through misery because they were given false hope.”

Not that the Cartels are giving up on drugs. The cartels are using their human trafficking business to help their drug operation. In some cases, they are using the illegals for the old bait and switch:
As well as charging them thousands of dollars in transport fees and ‘taxes’, every convoy of migrants caught entering the US ties up agents for potentially hours at a time.
And as they document, transport, and tend to the needs of the hundreds of migrants they encounter each day, a process further complicated by social distancing and COVID protocols, different areas of the border become short-staffed.
‘They know for a fact the big groups will get stopped but they use them as decoys so the single adults, the criminals, the drugs can come over elsewhere,’ the source said.
The Biden administration keeps spewing the fantasy that the current surge is the fault of the previous administration, arguing that Biden inherited a mess resulting from Trump’s undermining and weakening of the immigration system. The truth is that Biden’s policies opened the border and encouraged illegals to come. These policies included stopping the completion of the southern border fence-leaving gaping holes where trespassers can sneak into the country, stopping the “stay in Mexico” program, reinstating catch and release, directing border agents to release illegals into the country (without testing for COVID and in some cases without a court dated), Even as he told people not to come earlier this week, his full message was don’t come’—Yet. “We’re In The Process Of Getting Set Up.”
For the organized criminals in the Mexican Cartels, human trafficking is part of their business. Thanks to the Biden administration, that business is having a very profitable year. Like most businessmen, the criminals who run the Cartels will try and expand their profitable enterprises. In other words, with the new Administration’s policies, slavery, child murders, and rape will continue to grow, and the income of the perpetrators will skyrocket.
