New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was asked during an interview on Yahoo News’ “Skullduggery” podcast this past weekend if she supports impeaching President Trump. As with most thoughts, the Democrat socialist struggled to convey any rational reasons for supporting such a bold and significant move. “I think you could reach in a bag and pull so many things out that are impeachable of this president,” she claimed. “I support impeaching this president.”

The phrase ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ must be too many syllables for her to understand.

So many things …

That’s when the interviewers asked her to cite three specific ‘things.’

First, she said, “I think it’s always been emoluments. It’s always been about that for me.”

There is no evidence president Trump has violated the emoluments clause, but if he did that might be a legitimate reason to consider impeachment  Democrats have been continually citing the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution as a means to impeach Trump. It makes a nice buzzword, especially for the intellectually challenged wing of the party because it’s multiple syllables make them appear smart. Generally, when they talk about the emoluments clause the liberal Trump-haters bring up the Trump Hotel in D.C. Sadly for them, in March 2017, the U.S. General Services Administration already put a damper on those claims.

It was when Ocasio-Cortez had to start counting higher, however, that she struggled, seemingly unable to find a second or third reason to impeach the President and then settling on two ridiculous arguments.

Bear in mind that the following two sentences were uttered by a sitting member of Congress who claims to be an Adult.

“Like the census, there is you know I can’t even – tax bill. It’s like what can – like there is just so much,” she sputtered.

You can actually hear the hamster spinning in his wheel as she tries to formulate thoughts in that video. And somehow they must have cropped out the smoke that was coming out of AOC’s ears.

To be clear, she wants to impeach the President of the United States for giving tax breaks to the American people and for his Commerce Secretary asking about citizenship on the 2020 Census.

BTW Asking about citizenship on the census is not new.  The Chart below from the Center for Immigration Studies shows the citizenship question has been asked at various times during our nation’s history and to different percentages of the total census.

Ocasio-Cortez said she hadn’t yet backed her colleague Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s resolution for impeachment but would eventually.

“We hadn’t signed on when it was first introduced but we probably will,” the freshman congresswoman said.

She had previously expressed support for Tlaib’s profane outburst promising to “impeach the mother******,” downplaying it as nothing more than a “boo-boo word,” which was another example of her extensive vocabulary.

Last month, Ocasio-Cortez said she’d defer to leadership on the impeachment calls but added there’s “enough misconduct” to warrant pursuing it.

Apparently, tax breaks for middle-class Americans and daring to ask the citizenship of someone living in the United States amounts to misconduct. Can you imagine if they actually found something with the Mueller investigation? She’d be calling for a public hanging. Well, maybe not hanging but perhaps calling on the government to give the POTUS a boo-boo, that’s more her speed.
