When the 2024 election dust settled early on Wednesday morning, it became clear that Donald Trump didn’t just win the election, he trounced Kamala Harris. It was so bad for the Democrats that nearly every state moved to the right.
The GOP hasn’t seen so many votes move their way since Ronald Reagan in 1980.
According to Breitbart News:
“Democrats didn’t just lose badly,” Axios reported Friday. “They lost to a convicted felon they ridiculed as a racist, misogynistic fascist — and an existential threat to democracy.”
Early data shows Trump performed very well among demographics that typically leaned towards Democrats, Axios detailed:
- One in three voters of color voted for Trump.
- Trump increased his support with Hispanic voters by double digits compared to 2020.
- Trump carried Hispanic men by 10 points.
- Trump improved his support with voters ages 18-29 by 10+ points.
The states that moved the most to the right include many controlled by Democrats, such as California, New York, Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey. Florida and Texas also move to the right significantly:
Donald Trump won every swing state, will win the popular vote, and moved 48 states to the right. This is an undeniable mandate. pic.twitter.com/JWU06ERL8o

Donald Trump grew his vote among nearly every minority bloc, too.
I guess the U.S.A. is a bit more united than we thought. And Donald Trump was the uniter.
