A new poll finds that a majority of misinformed Democrats still believe the false “Russia collusion” story that claims that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win the White House, despite all the proof to the contrary.
There is no credible evidence to suggest that the Russians are the reason for Trump’s 2016 victory, nor is there any proof that they were even a little bit helpful in Trump’s 2016 win. Not even liberal journalists make that claim any more. Even the New York Times admitted that the story is fake news.
But Democrats refuse to believe the facts.
Yes, the same Democrats who keep claiming that everyone else is pushing “misinformation.”
And it is a sizable number of Democrats who foolishly cling to these lies.
Per the New York Post:
Astonishingly, 60% of Democratic voters still think “the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to win the 2016 election”, according to the poll of 1,014 Likely Voters conducted on July 6-7.
A whopping 69 percent of liberal voters still cling to the Russia collusion hoax, compared to 27 percent of conservatives, and 45 percent of moderates. Among all voters, more believe it unlikely (49 percent) than likely (42 percent).
The fact that liberals and Democrats still believe in the hoax is likely a reflection of their preferred media outlets, such as the New York Times, which refuses to hand back its ill-gotten Pulitzers, and MSNBC, which pays discredited plotters such as former CIA director John Brennan and former Mueller prosecutor Andrew Weissman to act out their Trump derangement on air.
This is because the Democrat Party is built on a mountain of lies.
