Data is showing that the federal government — that means you and me, folks — is shelling out millions upon millions in tax dollars every year to left-wing media outlets such as Politico, the BBC, and Bloomberg.
But not any more.
Trump has just ordered those subscriptions to be ended.
The Democrats have been sending millions to extremist, left-wing outlets such as Politico, the New York Times, Axios, and many others. This money has supposedly gone to these “news” outlets so that federal employees can access the specialized news content from the media outlets.
But why are we, the people, paying for this?
All this is doing is subsidizing these left-wing media outlets to attack Americans. Because that is all they do. These media outlets engage in partisan, left-wing agenda pushing. They aren’t “news.” They are propagandists for the left.
Now, if they subsidized conservative media to the same extent, at least it would have “equity” to use the left’s term.
Still, it is not legitimate to fund ANY media outlets like this. If federal employees was to access Politico’s slanted leftism, they should be paying for it out of their own damn pockets, not mine and yours!
It appears that the General Services Administration has now told federal employees to stop the payments.
“GSA team, please do two things,” the official wrote. “Pull all contracts for Politico, BBC, E&E (Politico sub) and Bloomberg. Pull all media contracts for just GSA – cancel every single media contract today for GSA only.”
Yep. More winning.
