Paul Manafort , Donald Trump’s new main campaign guy appeared on Meet The Press on Sunday and was quick to say idiotic things about Ted Cruz’s effort to grab delegates which continues to leave the Trump campaign flat footed. In his effort to whitewash to Trump campaign’s poor performance he accused the Cruz team of using Gestapo tactics:
Well, he’s threatening, you go to these county conventions, and you see the tactics, Gestapo tactics, the scorched-earth tactics-
Gestapo Tactics? Paul Manafort wouldn’t know Gestapo tactics if they did a back-flip and kissed him on his idiotic lips. I am sick and tired of politicians, pundits and and protesters making inappropriate Shoah references (Shoah is the word Jews use for the Holocaust it’s Hebrew for disaster). They are cheapening the memory of the Holocaust horrors.
During the Nazi regime it was the Gestapo’s job to round up all the Jews and other “undesirables” living within Germany’s newly conquered territories, and to either send them to concentration camps or put them to death. After the invasion of Russia in 1941, the decision was made to kill all the Jews of Europe in gas chambers and the Gestapo was called upon to supervise the dispatch of the Jews to the camps specially adapted or constructed for the program of mass murder.
As for Paul Manafort he is either an idiot or at 67 years old has never read anything about Nazis, the Gestapo or the Holocaust.
Regular readers of this site may have seen some of this before, but this is for the education of Trump’s new idiot Paul Manafort. Did Ted Cruz make people tattoo numbers on their arms?
The Nazis choose that method of identifying the Jews, including some of my relatives because tattooing is prohibited in the Jewish faith. If Cruz never forced people to tattoo numbers on their arms then he probably didn’t use Gestapo tactics.
I never met some of my family because the Nazis killed them and buried them in mass graves or cremated their bodies (cremation is also against Jewish Law). Did Ted Cruz kill people, cremate their remains, and bury them in mass graves?
If Cruz never killed, cremated, and buried people in mass graves then the Gestapo comparison is probably not accurate.
At other times the Gestapo wouldn’t bother to sent Jews to concentration camps, they would have Jews dig big holes and then shoot them one by one until everyone is dead. Does Paul Manafort believe Ted Cruz was killing people like the Gestapo below?
Neither Ted Cruz or any of the other GOP candidates ever forced people to put tattoos on their arms, crowded them in to death camps where they would suffer torture till they were gassed, shot, or died some other horrible death, followed by mutilating their corpses by taking out what can be reused and until that happens any comparison to the Gestapo and/or the Nazis is not only false and inappropriate, but it cheapens the memory of the people who suffered during the Holocaust and those who try to honor their memories.
If Paul Manafort wants to call Ted Cruz names go ahead it’s still a free country (although not as free as it was before 2008). But when he does please leave the Shoah out of it!
