Woke colleges across the nation are finally putting their racism behind them and cancelling the idiotic segregated graduation ceremonies where only blacks, or only gays, or transgenders or whatevers are invited and whites are excluded.
One of the most absurd and regrettable trends in so-called “higher education” has been a policy of holding separate graduation services. One for white people, one only for blacks to attend, etc. etc. This is a slap in the face to the principles that Civil Rights icon Matin Luther King, Jr., so logically posited; that we should each be judged on our merit, not our skin color.
But, since liberals are raving racists, they have been galivanting all across the country creating racially segregated graduation services, sticking a finger in King’s eye.
Well, that trend seems to finally be ebbing. A bunch of colleges have formally dumped their racist, segregated services, according to NBC News.
Black and gay graduates are furious that Harvard finally eliminated the school-sponsored separatist ceremonies, leaving the student organizers scrambling to fund these idiotic events on their own. But other schools hae also dumped these racist ceremonies.
[Harvard] joins many other institutions across the country that have canceled affinity graduations after the federal cracked down on funding for colleges. Notre Dame canceled its Lavender Graduation for 50 LGBTQ students, with members of the university’s Alumni Rainbow Community and the Notre Dame Club of Greater Louisville stepping in to host an independent ceremony this month.
Wichita State University, the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky also canceled some or all of their affinity ceremonies. The Hispanic Educators Association of Nevada said it canceled its event for Latino students because of a lack of financial support.

The Maricopa County Community Colleges District in Arizona canceled a ceremony for Indigenous students within the past few weeks, citing “new enforcement priorities set by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights,” which affect “programs and activities that focus solely on race, identity, or national origin,” according to an email obtained by NBC News.
This is all good news.
Let’s hope every last one of these ignorant events are dumped.
