San Diego, California, has been one of the busiest hotspots for illegal border crossers for the last four years, but now one of its biggest migrant shelters is closing down because so few illegals are crossing the border.
Are you tired of winning yet?
The Jewish Family Service of San Diego shelter is apparently closing down and staff is being laid off because the number of illegals crossing the border has plummeted.
According to the San Diego Tribune, there are no new arrivals since Trump came to office.
The organization said in a statement that its transition shelter — which provided medical screenings, food, case management, legal support and travel coordination — has received no new migrants since Inauguration Day, when the Trump administration ended use of the CBP One app.
The Trump administration has also closed the federal purse to many of these migrant groups, too, as officials conduct a 90-day review of federal spending to determine how much is pure waste and graft.
Consequently, the shelter also noted that it has not received the $22 million this year that is usually has gotten from Biden.
