A few years ago, a friend who lived in San Francisco taught me that the actual name of UC Berkeley was Berserkley. Twenty-plus years later, that word still comes to mind whenever that school is mentioned. The news story below proves the correctness of calling the school Berserkley.
A professor from Berkeley (where else?) has been caught delivering a lecture saying that the only way to “abolish whiteness” is to abolish white people. This news is a year old, but this crazy professor is still at Berserkley. Kids and parents thinking of going to the school in Sept. should know what’s happening because this is nuts even when compared to Berkley levels.
According to Libs of TikTok. Professor Zeus Leonardo, associate dean of UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Education and a critical race theory scholar, delivered a speech in which he said he wants to eliminate all white people, according to Libs of TikTok.

The video appears to be from a 2007 lecture titled “Teaching Whiteness in a Multicultural Context and Color-blind Era,” in which the professor asked the rhetorical question, “Is it worth it to be White anymore?”
Per College Fix: In the lecture, Leonardo visited the book “Learning to Be White: Money, Race and God in America.” The book'” argues that “child abuse, ethnic conflicts, class exploitation, poor self-esteem, and a general feeling of self-contempt … are the wages of whiteness,” ‘according to its description.”
“Whites learn to be white,” Leonardo said, adding that the book’s author, Thandeka, argues, “whites are not born white. They have to become white.” “They were born human,” he said. “Little by little, they have to be abused into becoming white humans. This abuse is sometimes physical … such as being bullied into whiteness.” “But also, it’s psychological and cultural,” he added.

Per Campus Reform: This is not the first time Leonardo has been criticized for his views on White people. The California professor previously came under fire for allegedly making similar remarks when teaching a Whiteness Studies course, namely that “white people are born human” and must be “abused” into becoming White.
Growing up, I was abused into eating vegetables and brushing my teeth, but I was never abused into whiteness. In fact, I was taught never to believe I was better than anyone, Black, Asian, other Caucasians (except certain relatives), etc.
Berkeley said it supports Leonardo and that he has freedom of speech at Berkeley. They are correct. Leo does have freedom of speech, but since college is all about learning to make their own decisions, they should rotate Leo in every other class with a professor who explains that CRT is bullS**t. And make sure that before their kids take Leo’s class, their parents should know they will be taught their kids were abused by those parents.
Let’s see what happens to class size should they do what is suggested above.
