US Terrorist supporting group, CAIR released a press release on the Israeli action in GAZA:

CAIR Condemns Israeli ‘Massacre’ in Gaza Obama urged to speak ‘in favor of peace and justice for all parties’ WASHINGTON, Dec. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group today condemned Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip that left more than 200 people dead and called the death toll a “massacre carried out using U.S. taxpayer-funded weapons.” More than 700 people, including women and children, were injured in the attacks.

The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said in a statement:

“Despite the public ‘green light’ given to the Israeli military by the Bush administration, American Muslims join our fellow citizens who respect international law and the sanctity of human life in repudiating this massacre carried out using U.S. taxpayer-funded weapons.

Bush didn’t give Israel a green light. Israel practically BEGGED Hamas to maintain the supposed cease fire. Funny how they forget to mention that fewer bombs have been dropped by Israel in this conflict than Hamas has rockets/mortars sent from Gaza to Israel since the “cease-fire” began in June (nearly 700)

“It must be clear by now that the only future offered to the Palestinian people by the outgoing administration was one of perpetual subjugation and humiliation at the hands of the Israeli occupiers. Unfortunately, our nation’s timid response to this tragic episode will only serve to fuel anti-American sentiments in the Muslim world.

Occupiers? Israel pulled out of Gaza in August of 2005,it was in all the papers, maybe you guys were on vacation, or missed it for some other reason, like you blew up the paper boy.

“We therefore call on President-elect Obama to demonstrate his commitment to change our nation’s current one-sided Mideast policy by speaking out now in favor of peace and justice for all parties to this decades-long conflict.

Obama isn’t ready to play his anti-Israel hand Click here for more details.

“We also call on world leaders to take direct action to end Israel’s counterproductive and wildly disproportionate attacks and to end the humanitarian siege of Gaza, which led to the recent breakdown of the ceasefire.”
CAIR noted that the European Union (EU), Russia, the UN Secretary-General, the Arab League, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), and other international bodies are all urging Israel to end it attacks.

AND?…As my Mom Used to say if all of your friends jumped off the Empire State Building would you?
Middle East envoy Tony Blair deplored the “tragic of loss of life,” while French President Nicolas Sarkozy condemned Israel’s “disproportionate use of force.”

EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said the Israeli attacks were “inflicting an unacceptable toll on Palestinian civilians and will only worsen the humanitarian crisis as well as complicate the search for a peaceful solution.”

Ah…Ibraham Hooper… here is a litte about Ibraham…

When the Washington Post in November 2001 asked Hooper if he would disavow the terrorist activities of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, he responded, “It’s not our job to go around denouncing.” He reprised the same theme in a 2002 interview with the Pittsburg Post-Gazette, refusing to condemn Hamas and Hezbollah because “we’re not in the business of condemning.” (By contrast, Hooper and CAIR have commonly condemned Israeli military strikes against Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups.)

When onetime Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative Sami Al-Arian was indicted by the U.S. government in 2003, Hooper appeared on the cable television program Buchanan and Press to defend Al-Arian’s right to support “Islamic causes and the struggle of the Palestinian people to be free of Israeli occupation.” He portrayed Al-Arian as the blameless victim of an organized conspiracy by “attack dogs of the pro-Israel lobby” seeking to bring about the “Israelization of American policy and procedures.”

In a similar vein, Hooper equated conservative Christian televangelists such as Pat Robertson, Jimmy Swaggart, and the late Jerry Falwell with Islamic terrorists — claiming that if given the opportunity, such individuals would commit mass murder against Muslims. Source

But its not Just Ibraham. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the supposed Civil Rights group which lobbies the government from its headquarters in Washington DC. It has been proven over and over that this group’s real purpose is as a fund raiser for Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land terrorism funding case. One key piece of evidence at the trial was a secret FBI wiretap recording putting CAIR’s executive director, Nihad Awad, at a Philadelphia meeting of Hamas leaders. In that recording participants hatched a plot to deceive Americans and disguise payments to Hamas as it launched a campaign of terror attacks. CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad also joined Hamas big shots at the summit.

Chances are that you will see the Opinions of these terrorist apologists all across the media in the next few days. So Just KNOW who you are listening to.

UPDATE CAIR Released Talking Points:
CAIR: U.S. Muslims Urged to Speak Out on Gaza Crisis WASHINGTON, Dec. 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today called on American Muslims and other people of conscience to contact public officials and urge them to condemn Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip that have killed almost 300 people and injured hundreds more, including women and children. In its bombardment of Gaza, Israel has targeted at least one mosque, a university and a warehouse for medical supplies.

[NOTE: U.S. Muslim Leaders to Address Gaza Crisis – On Monday, December 29, the American Muslim Taskforce on Civil Rights and Elections (AMT), a coalition of 12 major Islamic organizations, will hold a 10 a.m. news conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., to release an open letter to President-elect Obama outlining suggested domestic and foreign policy priorities for the new administration. CAIR also called on anyone concerned about the “disproportionate and counterproductive” Israeli attacks to call radio talk show programs, write letters to the editor and use social media websites such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter to voice their concerns.
Those contacting the media or using social media networks are being asked to offer support for the Palestinian right to freedom from occupation, to call for an end to the Israeli blockade of humanitarian supplies to Gaza and to demand a just resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The Washington-based group’s “action alert” also stated: “Point out that such attacks block efforts to bring peace with justice to the Middle East, harm our nation’s image and interests worldwide and strengthen voices of extremism in the region. Ask your elected officials to adopt an ever-handed Middle East policy that is in our nation’s, not Israel’s interest.”
CAIR’s alert listed other points to be raised when communicating with public officials:
* The Palestinian people must be given some hope of freedom from Israeli occupation and domination.
* Israel’s immoral and illegal collective punishment of the Palestinian people living in the Gaza Strip must end.
* America must support a just and comprehensive resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that takes into account the rights and responsibilities of all parties.
Yesterday, CAIR issued a statement condemning the Israeli attacks and calling on President-elect Obama to speak out on the crisis. Today’s action alert asked American Muslims to contact the Obama transition team.
