Some in the media and on the left have been pressing Donald Trump’s campaign to set a date for a vice-presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Trump’s newly selected running mate, JD Vance. But in reply, Trump’s people just delivered an epic troll.
The Biden-Harris campaign issued a statement saying that they have already accepted the CBS proposal of a debate between the veep candidates. But they wanted Trump’s folks to accept the challenge.
The Trump campaign’s response was an epic troll.
“We don’t know who the Democrat nominee for Vice President is going to be, so we can’t lock in a date before their convention,” Trump campaign senior adviser Brian Hughes said on Wednesday.
“To do so would be unfair to Gavin Newsom, JB Pritzker, Gretchen Whitmer, or whoever Kamala Harris picks as her running mate,” he continued.

Oh, now THAT is epic, baby.
But, he is 100 percent right. There is still a ton of pressure on Biden to drop out of the race and we still can’t be 100 percent sure he is even going to head the ticket.
Seems to me he won’t cave in to the pressure. But, really, let’s face it. Anything can happen.
