Well, it’s another “Democrats hardest hit” story with the news that Donald Trump’s approval rating is higher right now than Obama’s and Bush’s ratings were during this same time in their respective presidencies.
Take a look at the RealClearPolitics rating tracker:

Notice how Trump is doing better than both Obama and Bush at the same point in their second terms.
The interesting point here is that the media has spent more than a decade trying to destroy Donald Trump every single day. And yet, Trump continues to do well with the people of the United States.
Clearly, we are no longer in the days when the media has the power to destroy a president. Just as clearly, the public’s opinion of Trump is not being informed or driven by the opinion of the elites.
Also, don’t forget that RealClearPolitics gets its rating by averaging a collection of polls. And most of these pollsters are virulently anti-Trump. So that likely means that the numbers for Trump are even better than this because so many of the polls that make up this average rating are skewered against Trump.
Granted, this does not mean that the polls can’t or won’t turn against Trump. It just means that right new he’s probably doing even better than the polls say.
Remember, most of these same polls were sure that Kamala Harris was going to win the election last year.
