We hear about a new angle in the Hunter Biden drama whenever we turn around. It’s difficult to keep up with them all.
Just as the finishing touches were being added to this article, there was breaking news that Hunter Biden’s legal council has requested a meeting with the DOJ. The details and purpose of that meeting were not made public, but the article is written when that news points out several stories that could relate to.
Here’s a quick summary to bring you up to speed.
The three areas of his life that consistently land him in the news are his relationships with women (and their consequences), personal conduct that puts him outside the law, and shady business dealing with international players raising concerns of pay-for-play political corruption.
His Personal Conduct:
Federal prosecutors are weighing four charges against Hunter Biden, three related to tax crimes and a felony charge related to a gun purchase, according to a new report on Friday.
The possible charges are two misdemeanor counts for failure to file taxes, a single felony count of tax evasion related to a business expense for one year of taxes, and the gun charge, a potential felony, NBC News reported, citing sources.
When purchasing a .38 caliber gun in 2018, Hunter wrote in the Firearm Transaction Record that he did not use unlawful drugs but admitted in his memoir that he was a crack addict. Intentionally providing misleading information while making a gun purchase is a felony. –DailyMail
Related, as we heard last week, a career IRS agent is going through the proper channels to acquire whistleblower protections in producing evidence that political favoritism has been in effect to shield a connected person (said to be Hunter) from prosecution.
His Sex Life
Concerning his sexual exploits, the mother of the grandchild, Joe Biden, refuses to acknowledge is dragging Hunter through the courts and calling for him to be thrown into jail for contempt until he complies with the court order.
Independence County Circuit Judge Holly Meyer ordered all parties to appear at a contempt hearing on Monday after an Arkansas woman to whom the president’s son had agreed to pay monthly child support asked the court to hold him in contempt.

Lunden Roberts, who said in a previous court filing that DNA testing had established with “scientific certainty” that Biden is the father of her child, accused him of failing to provide discovery in the case.
Roberts alleges that Biden is “playing games with this court” and suggested that the judge “incarcerate the defendant in the Cleburne County Detention Center until he complies with this court’s orders and answers discovery.”
Biden finally agreed with Roberts in March 2020 to pay monthly child support. However, the case was reopened last September after Biden’s attorney asked the court to revise its child support calculation in response to a “substantial material change” in his financial circumstances. — AOL
Hunter has been staying at the White House in what is being characterized as an attempt to evade being served the legal documents, which would almost certainly be loudly denounced by the media as ‘obstruction of justice’ if a Republican President were to use the White House in the same way.
Once that was made public, photos came out of him holing up at the estate of a wealthy Democrat donor with his kid and current wife.
Political Corruption Involving A Member Of Biden’s Cabinet
First son Hunter Biden kept his business partners apprised of at least two scheduled one-on-one meetings with Antony Blinken, emails reviewed by The Post show.
The decade-plus-long relationship between Blinken and Hunter made headlines last week after the House Judiciary Committee revealed that former CIA acting director Michael Morell testified in private that Blinken — then a Biden 2020 campaign adviser — “triggered” a letter from 51 ex-intelligence officials that sought to discredit The Post’s reporting on bombshell emails from the first son’s abandoned laptop.
The Post’s initial scoop detailed Hunter’s role on the board of Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma, a position he attained in April 2014 despite no previous industry experience.
On May 22, 2015, 13 months after joining the Burisma board, Hunter Biden emailed Blinken, then-President Barack Obama’s deputy secretary of state, with a request.

The ties between Hunter and critical members of his father’s administration have drawn the attention of House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), who is leading the investigation into the first son’s overseas business interests.
“[National security adviser] Jake Sullivan’s in a lot of trouble,” Comer told “Fox & Friends First” Tuesday. “I would make the argument that Antony Blinken’s in a lot of trouble … We have a national security crisis on our hands, and the information that I’ve seen … It’s very concerning.”–NYPost.
