The truth is, there is NO “epidemic” of violence against transgender people. Regardless, the left has been pushing this lie for years in an effort to gain support for transgenderism, but statistics show that they are lying.
In fact, in all of 2024, there wasn’t a single report of a trans person being murdered over anti-trans hate.
Yet, the left continues to push the lie. This year, for instance, they are trying to use the death of Quanesha Shantel as its poster boy murder. Unfortunately for these liars, Shantel was murdered by his own boyfriend. There was nothing “anti-trans” about the murder at all.
The killer, Jeremy Reynolds, went into a murderous rage out of jealousy, not hate for transgenders.
Te disastrous Joe Biden — whose every move has always been wrong — tried to jump into the game, too. Last month, he blathered that “we mourn the transgender Americans whose lives were taken this year in horrific acts of violence.” Blah, blah, blah. Because there really wasn’t any.
As The Federalist points out, all the other cases that the left keeps pointing to as anti-trans hate are similar.
There were accidents, family squabbles, lover’s spats, car accidents, and one who seems to have died from a fall, not any anti-trans attacks.
Every previous year is the same. Transgender people are not suffering any “epidemic” of violence.
As The Federalist concludes: “With more than a decade of evidence, data, and research, it is very clear there is no ‘epidemic of violence’ against transgender people and LGBT activists know it. They simply choose to keep lying about it for political gain.”
Indeed, it seems much of the violence against trans people is at the hands of other trans people, and those who love them.
