It is being reported that the human smugglers who spent the last four years smuggling illegal aliens into the U.S. are now getting paid to smuggle illegals back out of the country. If this isn’t the perfect sign of the times, what is?
The news comes from Breitbart News which reported that illegals are now paying money to the coyotes to take them back out of the U.S.A.
“I’ve been a journalist for more than 25 years, but I never thought I would see this — ‘paquetes de retorno’” said Alfredo Corchado, the executive editor at the Puente News Collaborative.
[Coyotes] are now offering packages where [migrant] people can go back home …. [If] you want to go home, or you want to go back to Honduras, or maybe you don’t want to go back to Honduras because it’s too dangerous. [Or] you don’t want to go to Guatemala, but maybe you want to go to Costa Rica, and so they’re offering these [smuggling] packages where you can just go back home. Not all of them are taking it, I mean, many [are].
This is a wonderful turn of events, isn’t it?
It makes sense as far as the illegals are concerned, too. After all, if ICE grabs them up, they will end up in jail, in holding cells, separated from their families, and perhaps spending months bogged down in the system before they are unceremoniously removed from the country.
So, it makes perfect sense for them to get out quicker, more comfortably, and on their own terms.
