A month into Donald Trump’s second term, the stream of illegal aliens has come to an almost complete stop as migrants have gotten the message that they won’t be getting into the U.S. any time soon.
U.S. Customs and Border Patrol announced on Tuesday that the number of illegals they are apprehending at the southern border has plummeted by 85 percent over January’s numbers from last year.
Per Just The News:
“The men and women of U.S. Customs and Border Protection are aggressively implementing the President’s Executive Orders to secure our borders,” Acting CBP commissioner Pete Flores said. “These actions have already resulted in dramatic improvements in border security.”
The number of migrants crossing into the U.S. illegally at the southern border started to decline after President Biden last summer cracked down on asylum claims, according to internal Department of Homeland Security statistics obtained by CBS News.
The CBP report Tuesday also states that in the 11 days after Jan. 20, when Trump took office again, illegal migrants apprehended at ports of entry declined by 93%, compared to the 11 days before Inauguration Day.
Only Donald Trump could have achieved this.
And this is just one of the hundreds of great things he’s done in just one short month.
