A list of countries have already rushed to start negotiating with President Trump after he instituted his tariff policies.
Trump has said he has had “very productive” talks with many different countries after he implemented a tariff program against a number of countries that have heavy trade surpluses over the United States.
Several have already made moves to offer the U.S. concessions to get the president to lift the tariffs.
According to CF.org, some of the countries already making deals with the president include, Vietnam, India, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and the 27 countries of the European Union.
Trump’s tariffs have annoyed free trade proponents, but the truth is, the U.S. is always the loser in with supposed “free trade” that is never actually “free.”
The U.S. always ends up on the short end of the stick with this free trade stuff. Free trade would be great if other countries actually upheld the principle. But they never do. They always use it to hurt U.S. interests.
