Pelosi throws temper tantrum.
The Senate voted Saturday on the second annual Democratic Party shampeachment trial of former President Trump, coming back with a 57-43 vote, falling short of the two-thirds necessary to convict. Seven Republicans joined every Democrat finding Trump guilty. Afterward, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi crashed the House Managers’ conference to throw a temper tantrum.
After the vote, Sen. Mitch McConnell trashed Trump and was himself excoriated as Pelosi referred to the Republicans who voted to acquit as “cowards.”
Pelosi wasn’t scheduled to attend the news conference, but she burst in after hearing GOP Leader Mitch McConnell’s speech in the Senate. McConnell blasted Trump for his “disgraceful dereliction of duty” but still found Trump “not guilty,” citing constitutional concerns about the trial taking place when Trump left office.
“What we saw in that Senate today was a cowardly group of Republicans who apparently have no options, because they were afraid to defend their job, respect the institution in which they serve,” She also blamed McConnell for not allowing the House to deliver the impeachment charge to the Senate while Trump was still in the White House.
Here’s a video of her tantrum:

Pelosi says she's crashed the House managers' press conference because of McConnell's remarks. She's livid because he was responsible for not starting the Senate trial while Trump was in office.
"It was not the REASON he voted the way he did," she says. "It was the EXCUSE."

Putting on a show as usual. Temper tantrum

When asked if censure was being considered for Trump, she angrily responded: “We censure people for using stationery for the wrong purpose. We don’t censure people for inciting insurrection.” Sorry, Nasty Nancy, the January 6th Capitol Hill riot was disgusting, but it wasn’t incited by Donald Trump.
So, what does she want to be done? Or do we even want to know? But political geeks should reserve next February, just in case Pelosi and Schumer try for a third annual shampeachment.
Much of this post was first seen at Conservative Firing Line.
