“Iran’s policies towards the terrorist groups and the Zionist regime will not change, and this regime will be vanished from the global political scene,” General Salami told reporters on Sunday.
He pointed to the recent remarks of the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei who said that Israel will not be alive in 25 years from now, and said, “The life of the Zionist regime is coming to an end and as the Supreme Leader said Israel will disappear from the global political landscape in coming decades.”
Last month, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei described Israel as a “fake” regime, and said there won’t be any Israel in 25 years from now.
“Some of the Zionists have said that given the results of the nuclear negotiations (between Tehran and the world powers), they have been relieved of concerns about Iran for 25 years, but we tell them that basically, you will not see the next 25 years and with God’s grace, nothing under the name of the Zionist regime will exist in the region by then,” Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing a large number of Iranians in Tehran.
He added that the heroic spirit and morale of Muslim fighters will not let the Zionists feel comfort and tranquility in the next 25 years.

Iran’s state-owned Press TV (see video below) reported the Iran tested a new solid fuel long-range ballistic missile they named Emad which means “pillar.”
Speaking to reporters on Sunday, [Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein] Dehqan said the surface-to-surface missile has been completely designed and manufactured by experts of Iran’s Aerospace Industries Organization affiliated with the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
Emad is Iran’s first long-range missile with guidance and control systems which can hit targets and completely destroy them with high precision, the Iranian minister added.
He also stated that Defense Ministry pursues a strategy based on developing and increasing the missile capabilities of the Iranian Armed Forces and enhancing the Islamic Republic’s deterrent power.
“We do not ask for permission from anybody to increase our defense might and missile capability and are decisively following up our defense plans, particularly in the missile sector,” Dehqan said, emphasizing that the manufacturing of Emad is an apparent example of such a strategy.
The Iranian defense minister said Emad would be mass produced and delivered to missile units of the Iranian Armed Forces soon to significantly enhance their tactical and operational power.
Mass produced? Isn’t it nice that President Obama is going to give them $150 billion dollars to help them mass produce those long range missiles?
The Iranian government double-pinky-swears that the missiles will only be use for defensive purposes, like protecting its people from creeping western culture by bombing the U.S. or one of its European allies. Or protecting the Arab world from the Zionist presence in its midst by tossing a nuke into Tel Aviv. Or Perhaps giving the missiles to its Hezbollah buddies so they can defend themselves by firing them from their South America strongholds, etc..
