Yes America our new peace partner, Iran has a new message for us, “Up Yours!” After getting away with two missile tests which break UN resolutions, Iran now has unveiled an underground missile depot full of rockets that could carry a nuclear payload.

The underground missile depot unveiled on state-run television showed the Emad precision-guided missiles, which were tested twice in recent months. Emad is an Iranian-designed, liquid-fuel, intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) with a claimed range of 1,700 km (1,056 miles) and 750 kg (1,675 pounds) payload. The only reason to build and store those missiles is to deliver nuclear war heads.

Like the two missile tests, this depot is not only a violation of the 2010 U.N. Security Council resolution, but a public smack in the face of the United States which ignored the two missile tests.

Tasnim news agency and state television video said the underground facility, was situated in mountains and run by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards. The video released by Tasnim is embedded below.

While the missile depot and the missile tests are not a violation of the P5+1 nuclear deal they certainly violate the spirt of the deal. It is if the Iranian leadership is saying “go ahead punish me,” knowing that Obama is not likely to add new punishing sanctions (they were rumored and delayed) on the terrorist regime. They also know that any sanctions he does add will be inconsequential.  And there is no way he delay the lifting of existing sanctions per the Nuke deal, as it might lead to Iran backing out and ruining Obama’s foreign policy legacy.

Sadly all of the capitulations the U.S. made during negotiations has taught Iran that this President cares more about that legacy than he cares about the safety of Americans. Therefore they don’t believe they are risking much by building and flaunting nuclear warhead capable missiles.

So far it is believed that Iran has abided by the main terms of the nuclear deal, which require it to give up nuclear material. Recently Russia removed the required amount of nuclear material, providing that Iran’s ally Russia was being honest about how much they shipped out of the country (and that Iran was being honest about how much material they had).
