A St. Louis emergency management chief has removed her “they/them” pronouns from her official city bio after she failed to alert residents about a coming tornado which likely resulted in the deaths of several citizens.
Wacko leftist City Emergency Management Agency Commissioner Sarah Russell has been placed on administrative leave after she and her staff failed to push out the normal tornado alert messages to the public ahead of last Friday’s tornadoes.
Despite the tornadoes that meteorologists had warned were coming, Russell and her staff neglected to activate the city’s early warning system like she was supposed to.
Up to five people died in the tornado, according to KSDK-TV.
According to The Blaze, immediately after the tornado, Russell’s fake “pronouns” suddenly disappeared from the city’s website.
St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer says that Russell failed to implement emergency procedures.
“My takeaway was that the direction was not clear. It did not direct the person on the other end to press the fire button, and it’s my understanding the button was not pushed,” Mayor Spencer said.
“I have been shocked, and I remain shocked and frankly a bit horrified by the issues in the system,” she said, adding taht an investigation has been launched into the failures.
