Why should you be concerned about creeping Sharia in America? It goes beyond the culture war between Muslim Society and the Western World. In some of the latest examples of creeping Sharia, the Muslim community is not fighting for the right to practice their own culture, but they are placing restrictions on OUR lives. Look at the latest and one of the most silly examples, where non Muslim employees and guest of Six Flags were asked to dress modestly if they were in the park on an upcoming “Muslim day” The wacko part is that people even CONSIDER requests like that. If I requested that all stores in Manhattan close on Saturday because it is the Jewish Sabbath, people would laugh.
But if Muslim Cab Drivers in Minneapolis don’t pick up a passenger carrying a closed bottle of alcohol because drinking is against their religion, it becomes a legitimate debate. No discussion should be needed, Sharia law is a system of intolerance and hate and we need to charge our leaders with making sure it does not make inroads into American law or business practice.
