I wish I could say that I was the least bit surprised by this, but the moment I heard the premise for the film “Miss Sloane” I knew two things. First, the public does not agree with the radical gun control platform of Hollywood and as such are not going to be spending money to be indoctrinated and brainwashed to think otherwise.
Secondly, that regardless of how well the movie did or actually is that SOMEONE was getting nominated for an award from it. The Golden Globes proved me a prophet as Jessica Chastain got the nod for best actress. Best actress in a movie I will say is a complete flop and even with its paltry budget will probably take a heavy loss overall.
I couldn’t stomach watching this drivel, having to watch Michael Moore’s Bowling for Columbine in a college film class was bad enough, I sure as hell wasn’t going to pay good money to be vilified by some holier than thou Hollywood elitism. But that didn’t stop me from getting and reading the entire synopsis of this farcical drama.
Here’s the main points, our “heroine” of this story is a crooked DC Lobbyist played by Jessica Chastain who likes to pay for male escorts, has a drug problem and played a part in the raping of the Kenyan population of its natural resources.
At this point, you might think this story is one of redemption and how she overcomes all these things.
NOPE.
To the Hollywood elite, none of these things are a problem so Chastain goes on a whoring, addicted to meds and being a sleazy lobbyist. Until, that is, her firm was hired by the EVIL GUN LOBBY (du du dunnnnnnnn).
At this point she refuses to work on the project and is approached by the grass-roots, underfunded gun control lobby who want her to help pass a bill for increased background checks. There’s some BS tripe about a conviction-lobbyist never cheats, she exposes cheaters.
Mind you this is the same woman who orchestrated a corrupt pay off scenario in Kenya in order to bleed the nations people dry for their palm oil. But she BELIEVES in gun control so that automatically makes her the good guy in this film.
Long story short at the moment that she seems about to lose there is serendipitous moment when her best friend from her former firm reveals herself as an inside mole and the big bad Gun Lobby is defeated. Whoop de friggin do.
This entire film is just a propaganda and misinformation piece worthy of Joseph Goebbels. Why do I bring up Goebbels, because the progressives seem to have made this film using plays right out of the J Goebbels Rules of Indoctrination. Here are some of the quotes from Goebbels that seem to have come into play in this film:
A lie told once remains a lie, but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth.
If you tell the same lie enough times people will believe it; the bigger the lie the better.
This is the secret of propaganda: Those who are to be persuaded by it should be completely immersed in the ideas of the propaganda, without ever noticing that they are being immersed in it.
We shall reach our goal, when we have the power to laugh as we destroy, as we smash, whatever was sacred to us as tradition, as education, and as human affection.
You see, this film is just a lie being repeated for it’s entire running time. For instance, the lie that the Gun Lobby is this all-powerful giant money machine. You know who the gun lobby is? It’s the 80+ million gun owners who don’t want their rights infringed upon. Yes, the National Rifle Association and Gun Owners of America are the mechanism that represent these people’s interests when it comes to bills and who people should vote for during elections but that is just being organized. The gun rights movement is actually a true grass-roots movement and always has been.
Miss Sloane tries to rewrite reality by switching the script on who is a grass-roots movement and who is the billionaire backed Astroturf movement. Over 80+million gun owners stand united against the infringements of their rights. Who do they stand against? Billionaires like George Soros and Michael Bloomberg and a handful of other wealthy individuals who try to hijack the American system for their own personal desires.
Gun rights supporters actually exist. That’s why when there are rally’s gun supporters outnumber gun control supporters by a factor of 20 to 1. If it was just a matter of money than gun control would have steamrolled through years ago. But it’s not and that truth frustrates Soros, Bloomberg and the Hollywood elites to no end. That is why they try the subtle indoctrination with movies like Miss Sloane.
All the usual tropes are jam-packed into this indoctrination piece. The woman who experienced a school shooting, the politicians being in the gun lobby’s pocket, the nefarious nature of the gun lobby itself, even Sloane herself is cast as the heroine who took zero dollars in order to fight against this great injustice.
All in all the film is a garbage indoctrination piece that Joseph Goebbels would be proud to call his own…except that no one is going to see it. Hahaha
The film cost $13 million to produce and it will make $5 million. In truth it looks like that is a generous number.
So a financial disaster of a movie STILL gets a Golden Globe nomination?
As I said, I’m not the least bit surprised.
The Awards Circuits, Golden Globes, Academy Awards etc have a history of propping up flops by nominating (and sometimes awarding) films and actors who align with their progressive liberal ideologies and thus they try to breathe second life into them.
Examples include 1999’s “The Insider” that was a hit piece on Big Tobacco starring Russel Crowe, 1992’s gender bending “The Crying Game” only made $4.3 million before getting heaps of praise by the Academy.
Much like the mainstream media, Hollywood has forfeited it’s credibility in order to hoist their own ideology on the public. The end result being that movies like Miss Sloane will continue to flop and no one is going to care about Award Shows anymore.
And at the end of the day I’ll still have my God-given right to keep and bear arms.
